Overview
ER Wait Time ("we," "our," or "us") helps you find nearby hospitals and estimated emergency department wait times. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices—including for our optional premium subscription.
Information we collect
- Location — when you search for hospitals (to find nearby facilities and distances).
- Account — if you register: email/username and credentials you provide.
- Reviews & wait-time reports — ratings, comments, and visit-related info you submit.
- Usage & diagnostics — anonymous analytics, crash logs, and device/OS type to improve the app.
- Subscriptions — purchase status via Apple App Store or Google Play (we do not store full payment card data).
Information we do not collect
- Full medical records or clinical diagnoses
- Payment card numbers (handled by Apple/Google)
- Data from other apps on your device without your action
Premium subscription
ER Wait Time Premium (er_premium_monthly) is an auto-renewing monthly subscription
at $3.99/month. After 30 free hospital searches, a subscription is required to continue searching.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. You can cancel anytime in your
store account settings.

How we use information
- Provide hospital search, wait times, maps, and directions
- Operate accounts, subscriptions, and restore purchases
- Improve predictions, performance, and security
- Respond to support and legal/data-rights requests
We do not sell your personal data.
Data security & retention
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting. We retain data only as long as needed for the service or as required by law. You may request deletion or export at any time (see below).

You may request access, export, correction, or deletion of your data, or withdraw consent.

Children
ER Wait Time is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
