Delete Your Data

File Converter gives you full control over your data. You can permanently delete all stored information at any time.

Warning: Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone. This removes conversion history, app settings, and any synced backend records.

Delete Data in the Mobile App

Open File Converter on your Android or iOS device.
Tap the Settings icon (top right).
Scroll to Delete all my data.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Delete Data in the Web App

Open the Web App.
Go to Settings.
Select Delete all my data and confirm.

What Gets Deleted

Conversion history stored on your device
App settings (including theme preferences)
Locally cached user identifier
Synced backend history (if cloud sync was used)

What Is Not Deleted

Files you saved manually to your device or cloud storage (outside the app)
App store purchase records (managed by Apple or Google)

Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, email us at support@fileconverter.app with the subject line Delete My Data. We will process your request within 30 days.
