File Converter ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Files you select: Processed locally on your device for conversion. Files are not uploaded unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
• Conversion history: Stored locally using hybrid storage (device + optional backend sync).
• App settings: Theme preference and basic configuration stored on your device.

How We Use Data

We use data only to provide file conversion, maintain your history, and improve app functionality. We do not sell your personal data.

Data Storage

We use a hybrid approach: primary storage on your device (local) with optional backend synchronization for history backup. If the backend is unavailable, local data remains fully functional.

Delete Your Data

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete all my data within the app, or follow the instructions on our Delete Data page. This removes local history, settings, and requests deletion of synced backend data.

Third-Party Services

The web version may use a service worker for offline support. No third-party analytics are required to use the app.

Children's Privacy

File Converter is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
